FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Drawbase Software announces the availability of new CAFM applications.

February 22, 2000 - Newton, MA - Drawbase Software, developer of DrawbaseŽ, the all-in-one software solution used to design, draw, track, and manage facility information, announced the availability of several new Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) applications.  Those applications include a “Move Manager”, a “Computerized Maintenance Management Interface (CMMS) interface” and additional drawing layout tools to assist facility managers with provide more meaningful drawings.

The Move Manager works with Drawbase to streamline and simplify the entire move coordination process.  As the designer plans or commits the changes both the facility drawings and databases are updated with appropriate and timely information.

The CMMS interface works with several popular industry leading maintenance management systems and allows a Drawbase user to dynamically link databases to view maintenance history or open work orders and initiate new work orders in the CMMS system.  The CMMS interface assures that the facility management information and the facility's or plant’s equipment database(s) contain synchronized information.

The additional drawing layout tools provide the facility manager with a method of quickly and easily identifying and annotating particular assets or objects on a graphical or visual room-by-room or department-by-department basis.  The additional drawing layout tools will be available and included in Drawbase version 4.1 later this spring.

These applications were developed in close collaboration with Com Tek CADD Company, a Drawbase reseller.
